'Gibbs' and I worked together at Semafone in Chertsey. He was a great colleague - fun to be around with the right 'can do' attitude. We have children of a similar age and I remember him showing me photos of his children at Peppa Pig World and recommending I take my son (which I did!). He was clearly a committed family man and adored his children. Gibbs moved on to a new job but he kept in touch with occasional news. We were all devastated to hear the sad news of his death last year. I was on maternity leave when our CEO called to let me know what had happened. I feel so sorry for Gurbrinder's wife and 2 children having lost him and so suddenly as well. I think this memorial is a great idea and hope it helps the children over the longer term. I met some other Semafone colleagues recently and one reminded me how we would buy packs of crème eggs and Gibbs, Sona and I would share them - like a bunch of kids! :-) Silly but nice memories. RIP Gibbs.
